People smoke when they feel tired, stress or bored. This is because the nicotine content in a quick puff is able to stimulate a person’s mind and body for a better relaxation. Although it may be the most helpful tool to release your stress and make your mind relaxed at a time, the nicotine inhaled on the other hand will destroy your blood cells in the body and brains. After a few years, a smoker may be at risk of having heart diseases and lung cancer. Due to the fact that smoking is bad for health, a lot of researchers have invented different types of smoking alternatives to replace the pure cigarette. Some are even good in helping a smoker to quit from smoking.
One of the alternatives would be using an electronic cigarette. It has a similar design like a normal cigarette which works on vaporization method. It is powered with lithium-ion battery and able to produce vapor once operated either manually or by sensor. The cartridge is usually moistened with nicotine. When the device is operated, the heating element will be activated and vaporize the liquid. The vapor produced will be inhaled which gives the similar aroma and feeling as if smoking a real cigarette.
Besides that, another alternative could be consuming herbal pills which contain legal and permitted drugs. This alternative is proven to be much better than inhaling the smoke of a cigarette puff. Each time you consume the pill, it will stimulate your body and mind to give you the same feel like after smoking.
Another well-known smoking alternative would be nicotine chewing gum. This type of chewing gum delivers the nicotine through your saliva into the body and brain. Therefore, it is able to provide you the same sensation like smoking a real cigarette. Some of the gums also come in different flavors for you to choose.
These are all the common alternatives to give you the same feeling of inhaling the smoke of a cigarette.

As he learns about life and the Cherokee “way” from his grandparents, Little Tree’s sensitivity to nature and to others grows. At first it might seem easy to dismiss this movie as hokey, especially when Little Tree’s Scottish grandfather teaches him to make whiskey and he befriends a dog. But the film gains emotional power when Little Tree becomes close to an older Cherokee who tells him about the Trail of Tears. When the government places Little Tree in an Indian school, where he is abused physically and psychologically, the tough issue of the forced assimilation of Native Americans isn’t glossed over. Excellent performances and a gripping story make this well worth watching with children ages 8 and up. An interesting side note: Forrest Carter, who wrote the book the movie is based (more…)
