An Immensely Rewarding Philosophy I’d Like To Share With You

“May my soul bloom in love for all existence.”
Rudolf Steiner

Does this sound familiar?

Paul wanted to change some situations in his life. He wanted to be able to go into a room full of people and feel confident. He wanted to be in a meeting at work and feel comfortable and go for a bigger contracts so he could earn the extra money for his family to live without penny pinching. But something stopped him.

He’d tried hiding from his failings for a long time, but he admitted he’d got to the point where he now hated himself and was beginning to resent his family. He’d tried a confidence workshop, he’d tried reading books, he’d even tried just throwing himself, inauthentically, into situations. But still, those same old nagging feelings kept coming up.

Not Feeling Good Enough

Simply put, Paul didn’t feel good enough. One of the hard things about not feeling good enough is that you want to feel good enough. But when you don’t feel good enough, feeling good enough is just about the hardest thing to make come about.

It’s a bit like money. When you don’t have any money, it’s hard to crate any. But when you have some, it gets easier to create more. It reminds me of the old saying, ‘It’s easier to get a job when you have one.’

Whether it’s confidence, money a job or something else, it doesn’t really matter. I say it doesn’t matter, for a good reason.

Whenever an aspect of our life is not moving on, it has a lot to do with our thoughts and feelings. Meantime, life goes on, and while it goes on, it gives us an abundant supply of opportunities to experience the way we think and feel.

But how do we transform how we think and feel when we want to change, but are in that vicious circle of wanting to change but not being able to change?

An Empowering Philosophy
What I have to share with you, I believe, has the power to transform almost any situation we come across. It goes like this:

In life, we are constantly being sent information that is meant to guide us. This information comes as hints: thoughts and feelings – thoughts about the feelings and feelings about the thoughts. Other hints might come to us when someone says something, or when a synchronistic events occurs.

But this information is often overlooked. This is because:

We didn’t know that life provided us with empowering information
We’re too busy to pay proper attention
We don’t know what signs to look for, or
Because acknowledging the signs scares the living daylights out of us

I’ve been helping Paul build a daily practice that helps him become aware of the information that can empower him. As his skills developed, he’s learned to stop the fight between his current existence and the longed for confidence that would transform his life.

I’m teaching Paul something that I developed from my own experience. It’s a practice that becomes an enlightening conversation with life, where I act and life sends me an experience that I need, so I can grow as a person and become closer to my desires.

Cutting off the Chains and allowing the Soul to Bloom

Losing the attachment to the needs and desires and having an ongoing conversation with life has been tremendously profitable for me and now for Paul.

Rather than beating himself up for his failings Paul is now listening and acting, acting and listening. As a result, guess what?

Since he’s been enjoying life more, there’s been an increase in the things he wanted to gain, falling into my lap.

Quick, easy and practical Tips to get you started:

Allow yourself a few minutes quiet time each day to digest your thoughts and feelings on the events of the day. This time is your practice time. Over a few weeks you’ll begin to integrate your practice into your daily life.

Be aware that: what you think brings up a corresponding feeling – it will feel, good, bad or neutral. Take note of these feelings as they will be your guide to what you you might do next. On the occasions when something doesn’t feel good, consider what one thing you can do to make it feel a little better.

It is also useful to keep a journal. When you look back you’ll see patterns of thought and feelings. This gives you the opportunity to take a closer look at anything you don’t like and want to change.

These tips are just the simple beginnings, so please, do, check out the groups and workshops so I can help you deepen your learning and integrate this idea into you’re life, so life becomes easier and more flowing.

An Efficient Way To Personal Growth

There is a way to grow and expand and resolve issues on your mind that is simple, efficient and relatively unknown.

This way will hardly take a moment out of your day. I can personally vouch for the fact that what tends to occur is above and beyond many ways I know for creating excellence, happiness and peace of mind.

Let me begin by painting a picture for you.

Imagine that there is an issue or decision that you want to resolve (you may like to actually think of one).

Now this issue may have been on your mind for sometime, or it might have come up today, but you’re pulling yourself left one moment and right the next and are unsure what to do.

Maybe a friend has advised you and you still don’t know the answer. Maybe you go to see a psychic in the hope they will tell you the out outcome.

You can go on like this for days, weeks and maybe even months or years, but what I’m going to tell you about is an efficient process that can help you. What’s more you can do it while you’re asleep.

We’ve all heard the expression, ‘Let me sleep on it.’ This saying has more wisdom in it than you might know. What’s been lost is the method. So I’m going to share it with you.

All your problems, issues and decisions occur in your ‘conscious’ daily life. The solutions are all in the ‘unconscious’ or higher self.

In order for you to access this there is a very simple technique which I’ve listed below this article under tips on today’s subject.

Although this process is kind of a ‘one a day process’, if you follow the wisdom that comes to you overnight, you’ll find life transforming comfortably in a direction you’ll enjoy.

One of the things to be aware of is that the dreams you have seem to answer the questions you raise before falling asleep.

On one occasion I was worried about the outcome of something. The impression the dream left on me was that there was nothing to be concerned about and I was just to sit back and wait.

Another dream told me to sit and wait for a time and I would be taken on a journey of new possibilities. 48 hours later that’s exactly what happened. I sat in a meeting with a man who unexpectedly told me what I needed to know.

Concerned about a family member I was reassured and asked to be still and calm and be consistent.

The list goes on. But I can assure you the energy of resolving decisions and issues in this way is more efficient than pulling your hair out.

Tips on this subject…

1. What question do you want help answering?

2. As you as falling asleep repeat the question slowly, over and over until you fall asleep. When you do this you take your conscious problem into the unconscious mind.

3. When you wake recall the dream and the feeling you have on waking.

4. You should now have the answer you need. If not repeat this the next night and ask for more clarity on the question.

An Atypical Success

Melba Rae likely never traveled the world. It’s likely that she never rode in a limousine. She had none of the trappings of fame and there was probably very little fortune. She was just an ordinary woman that was extraordinary in her ordinary profession.

Most of us have many teachers in our life. As we think back on our years in school we can often recall the names and some of the characteristics but there are not many who have a lasting place in our hearts. Melba Rae was different. I am sure that she holds a lasting place in every one of her student’s hearts.

High School students tend to think that they are all grown up. Of course, they are almost grown up being in the last years of the schooling they started back when they were five. Most of the teachers from my high school treated us like that also. School was serious business. We were all preparing for life ahead, college admissions, job placements, preparing for where our lives would lead us when we no longer were told where to go and what to do with our days.

Many seniors had most of the credits required to graduate. Many of the seniors were able to attend school for half a day during senior year. But almost every senior signed up to take Miss Barnett’s Advanced Composition class whether they needed it or not. It was not the class or the credit. It was being able to be in Miss Barnett’s class.

Many a student would walk around the halls with a gold star on their forehead after being in Miss Barnett’s class. Tootsie Pops were also handed our freely for active participation in class. She taught us to write and she taught us to think. She spoke to us as equals and reminded us that we were smart and ready to face the world. Every one of us was important to her, from the smartest valedictorian to the one who struggled to put a sentence together on paper. We were all equally loved and important to Miss Barnett.

She said that all of her students were her kids. Miss Barnett had never married. She claimed to be waiting for Efrem Zimbalist Jr. to come along and sweep her away. Most of us were too young to know who Efrem Zimbalist Jr. was but Miss Barnett explained to us that he was the most handsome man in the world. He was an actor of course. At a later time I saw an old photograph. He was very handsome, indeed!

When I think back on some the things I learned from Miss Barnett, there are not so many lasting things that I recall that have affected my writing. She hated the words “a lot” claiming that a “lot” was a piece of ground and the word had no place in compositions. I still find myself searching for an alternative if I am tempted to use the word. I never misspell the word “separate” because Miss Barnett always said, “se-PA-rate”. But the other things I cannot specifically recall, yet she undoubtedly affected my love for words and for writing.

At my senior classes commencement exercises we chose Miss Barnett to give the speech. It was the first time a teacher had ever been given such an honor. But it was well deserved and it showed our great respect for our favorite teacher. A couple of years later she passed away.

Miss Barnett may not have had many of the things that we all think of as success. She didn’t have the typical trappings. She did not have money. She did not live in a big house. She did not have the handsome husband (Efrem never did come!). But Miss Barnett found Joy and Happiness in her work. She gave it her all and it all came back to her. Every student loved her and respected her and learned from her.

Miss Melba Rae Barnett was an enormous success.
