Crying It Out – Things You Really Need To Know.

Remember the scene in the movie “Lonesome Dove” after Gus (played by Richard Duval) saved Laurie (played by Diane Lane), who had been abducted and assaulted. Since her rescue she had been unable to speak, and they were camping on the way to join their friends on a cattle drive to Montana. They particularly enjoyed playing the game of poker together so he set up a table and cards for them to play. The beautiful memories of pleasant times brought tears in her eyes. He hugged her close in his arms and gently told her to let them flow, to cry it all out; saying something to the effect that what happened was in the past and that was the way to keep it in the past so it wouldn’t follow her the rest of her life.

Truly those were wise words coming from a medium of entertainment. Just imagine what would happen if parents did that when their children starts to cry. Sure, no one likes to see their children in pain, and crying is a sign of extreme distress. However if they are not at the present time either injured physically or extremely uncomfortable due to external conditions such as cold and heat, or even very hungry, then maybe they just need to shed a few tears. Whatever the reason may have been to upset them is in the past; perhaps the tears are just a way of helping every person insure that the bad incident fades into distant memory.

For a number of us have experienced how beneficial crying can be. No matter how you try and resist the tears, but when they flow there’s relief, and what’s more a cleared head and new perspectives. In the same way, when young children are in someone’s loving arms when the tears flow, and at the same time are told that the bad feelings will pass, they will surely experience the same kind of relief.

Of course, this isn’t to say that is would be a great idea for kids to be encouraged to demand attention at any whim or to cry persistently. Parents at all times should use their judgment about where and when it’s a good idea to pause whatever they might be doing and give a child a big hug and let them know that its okay to cry. Or else, if you have something pressing to do, you can even say I’ve only got five minutes, but I’m all yours for that time, and maybe we can chat about it soon after.

For sure, this pertains to families where children and adults are basically normal people. For children who have either behavioral problems and act out often and extremely, you may want to consider calling a professional in some aspect of psychology or a pediatrician.

Crush This Economy – Spirituality Information

Economy I understand not,

Nor the GDP all short,

Figures they are for the intellect,

What use it that for the poor to recollect…….

Economy stinks… Economy has failed miserably…History stands witness… There are very few people who have bid goodbye to this world with a smiling face… The wrinkles and scars of the stupid economy are visible in every face. Economy gives a job to someone, makes a company rich and fills the coffers of the Government but it leaves most of the people spiritually poor….Economy is nothing but cashing in on your lowest desires and stripping you of your inner powers.

Economy has to make a country rich while it has not… It has made only 5% individuals wealthy…. The remaining 95% of the population have to work for money. There is a huge difference between making money work for you and you going after money. Wealthy people make money work for them and the rest have to go to job everyday to earn money. There is nothing wrong in going for a job but a flourishing economy has to facilitate richness of thoughts… It has to make you spiritually rich… It has to make you content , feel worthy of whatever you are doing. 95% of the population who earn money maybe happy but they are not content. There is a lack of self worth in individuals, a seemingly visible helplessness which is apparent in the way they talk, act and go about doing their daily chores. This economy of the world has never worked and will never again in the near future.

The basis of the economy all over the world is to provide you the basic comforts a job, a house , a car ,a mobile phone, insurance and the list goes on … It attempts to tell you that we can make you rich but it forces you to wear the garb of a beggar … It gives you comfort toys but it clips your hands and steals away your freedom… It keeps inventing new gadgets of comforts and throws it at you and you like a beggar pick it up because it is attractive and that is all you can do… You are a beggar and I am a bigger one than you….. because i did it all through my life.. I failed to understand the difference between a beggar begging on the street, a prostitute mortgaging her body and a executive trading his/her intelligence. To me they are nothing but different levels of begging. One is lending her body the other the mind… But there is something far greater than all this which we never touched upon, which we as individuals never thought about,… an area within us where there is no trading, no give and take, where everythingl happens effortlessly and you do not force anything upon you …… This area is called the Economy of love….

The reason i am so excited about this economy of love is because it is totally driven by you and the external factors cannot overpower it. The economy of love holds you completely accountable for your actions. It attempts to build individual economies based on the richness of your mind and nothing else. It’s sole objective is to perfect the greatest tool called the mind and make it so rich,so full of energy, so full of ideas that it eventually enables an individual to get everything that he or she truly wants . It bases it’s philosophy on this powerful quote from Swami Vivekananda ” Isn’t it man that makes money. Where did you ever hear of money making man? If you can make your thoughts and words perfectly at one, if you can I say, make yourself one in speech and actions money will pour in at your feet like water…”

When a billion people endeavor to do build this individual economy a new world will be created. The world which exists in your mind is a million times more stronger, more beautiful than the external world. It is this mind that you have total control over and I encourage you to dominate it and build an economy which will serve as a benchmark for all other minds….

Stop talking about the economy of the world of which you have zero control and start building upon the economy of Love within. There are some who have to sow the seeds and there are others who enjoy its fruits. Your role is to sow the seeds of the economy of love so that couple of decades later your children, your well wishers, and all those beings who travel in this kingdom of God salute you for your commendable vision.

We don’t want a billion hands to hold a stupid mobile phone. We want them to crush this dry economy given to us by our forefathers and embrace the force of God within. Economy of love is individualistic and hence accountable . Economy of the world is all about intellectual figures and makes very little sense for the common man. I chose economy of love over the economy of the world…. I care a damn of the economy of the world because the inner force within me never understood those sane figures….

Creativity And Original Thinking: Suggestions From Personal Experience.

Why is it that ideas can flow so freely sometimes and then be as elusive as a leaf floating down a stream? I’ve wondered that a lot when I was under a deadline, either at school or more recently for my livelihood.

Over the years I have used a few tricks to get me unstuck when I absolutely had to be creative at that moment with no option of waiting. The goal is to get the mind off the track it is on…that’s why you feel stuck. Your mind is closed in on one solution, one path….as if it’s a horse wearing blinders.

The first order of business is to relax and know that the good ideas are just waiting to come out. Remind yourself that you are a creative genius. Your mind is a miracle and it’s actually at your command. Belief is important, just as it is with any successful endeavor. It’s also time for a state change, meaning a physical change of state. Go walk around the block. Execute some jumping jacks. I like to play a couple good dancing tunes and have some fun with it. Standing, stretching and walking around the room may be enough.

You should be in a more positive mental frame of mind now. You know you can come up with some ideas and you are even looking forward to the process. You might do a quick review of your project, not a lengthy review. Flip though the plans, proposals, pictures, ad copy, whatever.

Do a small word association game: write down one word having to do with your project. For example, perhaps I need to create a landscape piece for a client. I’ll write the word landscape at the top of the paper, then quickly write down words that come to my mind. I’ll have a list of words about color or actual places or kinds of foliage or weather, etc. You see, even though my project is visual, I use word association to get ideas. Try this with several aspects of you project/problem. Does your project have a name? Use that name for a word association exercise.

If I still need more input, I’ll ask myself some questions. Who is this for? What is the goal? What if I changed the whole thing? What would it look like? What really matters? I’ll even ask myself questions like: What if I don’t get this done? At least I’ll find out how important it is!

OK, so I need a bit more help. Here’s where I’ll lean back in my chair, close my eyes and take a few minutes to visualize. What am I visualizing? I’m visualizing delivering the project. Why? Perhaps I will see into the future as to what the final product looks like! Remember, this is a game. Have fun and you might come up with something really insightful.

I know there’s lots of good ideas flowing, but just in case you need some more help. I can only remember having to do something like this once. A good idea usually comes in the first or second exercise. You want at least 6 small (maybe 3×3) pieces of paper. Take your lists you just wrote and tear them into pieces so you can still read them. Better yet, you can create some more words and/or pictures. Use shapes or colors to represent parts of your project. Play mix-n-match with these papers. Shuffle them. Drop them on the floor and see where they end up. You could even cut out relevant magazine pictures and do this activity. You’ll already have some great ideas, so you probably won’t have to go this far!

Relaxing is very important. Stress tightens everything including your creativity. Relaxation helps those creative juices to flow. Get comfortable and enjoy the ride.
