Mint (m&ibreve_;nt), n. [AS. minte, fr. L. mentha, Gr. minqa, minqh.] (Bot.) The name of several aromatic labiate plants, mostly of the genus Mentha, yielding odoriferous essential oils by distillation. See Mentha.
