That is best for thosewho seek the Countenance of God, and it is they who will prosper. That which you give for riba so that it may increase through the property of(other) people, will have no increase with God but that which you give as charity, seeking the Countenance of God, it is those who (do that) will get a recompensemultiplied.4:161And their taking of riba though they were forbidden from it and their devouring ofmens wealth wrongfully. And We have prepared for those among them whoreject faith a painful punishment.3:130O you who believe! Devour not usury, doubled and multiplied; but fear God thatyou may prosper.2:274-2812:274 Those who spend of their wealth (in charity) by night and by day, in secretand in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, norshall they grieve.275 Those who eat riba do not stand except as stands one whom Shaytan has bythe touch thrown into confusion. That is because they say: "Sale is like riba". Godhas permitted trade and forbidden riba. Those who after receiving admonitionfrom their Lord, desist, shall have what is past; their case being for God (tojudge). But those who repeat (the offence) are companions of the fire: They willstay therein.276 God will destroy riba, but will give increase for deeds of charity. God doesnot like those ungrateful and wicked.277 Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regularprayer and regular charity, will surely have their reward with their Lord. On themshall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.278 O you who believe! Fear God, and give up what remains (due to you) fromriba, if you are believers.279 If you do not do it, then take a notice of war from God and his Messenger. But if you repent, you shall have your capital sums: Deal not unjustly, and youshall not be dealt with unjustly.280 And if the debtor is in a difficulty, grant him time till it is easy for him torepay. But if you remit it by way of charity, that is best for you if you only knew.281 And fear the day when you shall be brought back to God. Then every personshall be paid back what he earned, and [people] shall not be dealt with unjustly
