Other factors continued.A large group of people who dislikes, one particular persons videos, could one after the other file a DMCA against that person. Which would make it very hard for the person "censored"

Other factors. It could be much more expensive for a non US citizen, to file a civil lawsuit against another Youtuber from the US. Thereby giving non US citizens a very disadvantages outset.

Argh...my fingers hurt(actually they do)2) By filing DMCA infringement claims against me, as stated before. YouTube will suspend my account. Until They process my counter notifications. In short, every time I would get reinstated you will file a new DMCA claim against me and I would get suspended almost immediately, thereby effectually censoring me for good.

Almost at the end :)1) If I am too poor to file a civil lawsuit against you. Then you can go on and filing DMCA infringement claims against me, until I am permanently suspended by You tube. Yes YouTube will permanently suspend my account, if I get a lot complains. Which means that i am actually censored without my case even having been put before a court.Continued

Continued.(in the last sentence my=your. Sry)What i described was the basic steps, a DMCA infringement claim case follows. So what does that translate into.To be continued...(phhuuuha)

Further...Ok, so if I do file the counter claim, the video will probably be be reinstated by youtube. But that is not the end.Now we both have the option to file a civil lawsuit against one another. I can file a lawsuit for restitution of being unlawfully "censored" by your "illegal" DMCA infringement claim. And you can file a lawsuit against me for "illegally" using my material.Continued..

Continued..Actually Youtube may even suspend your account and any future account I make(from example).Being on youtube is for a lot of people a private matter. Youtubers like to be anonymous. To elaborate on that point. If I file a counter claim I would have to disclose my personal information to you(in this case). I would not want to do that if I thought that you were a maniac :)To be continued.

Ok, nice question. It goes like this. You do not like me making a video commenting one of your videos. The video I make happens to have one of your clips. So you file a DMCA infringement claim to youtube. Youtube then removes my video until I send a counterclaim. To be continued... |
