How Steve Vai applied the great Slonimsky "Thesaurus" book
sorry for my english...I'm particular worked up today...As stated on the Vai website, one of the books he studies in the past was the great Nicholas Slonimsky "Thesaurus of Scales and Melodic Patterns"I find (quite sure) an application of this kind of "open minded" thinking in the great song "The Animal" from Passion and Warfare...if you, like me,are a book-lover you'll find this lesson (a little) useful....maybe

You know:maybe the most interesting question that every guitar-lover can ask himself is:wich kind of music Steve Vai can compos without being trained at Berklee ? If he were self-taught,would he compose 'Passion & Warfare' or what else ?
