Paramedics meet patients
A 57 year old man who had a heart attack on a bus in Edinburgh on 15th October will meet the ambulance crews and doctor that responded and thank them for saving his life.John Logan had just boarded a bus when he collapsed. A Scottish Ambulance Service paramedic was on scene in 3 minutes along with Dr Richard Lyon from Edinburgh Royal infirmary and a further two ambulance crew. Mr Logan is making an excellent recovery.Dr Lyon is working closely with ambulance crews in Edinburgh as part of a £90,000 cardiac research project funded by Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS).
