What about the lack of sun spots? This could cause an ice age. I'm sure "global warming"could have some truth to it, but when your job depends on federal grants to keep you studying "global warming" you will find things to study about it. Also the lack of sun spots has some corilation to ice ages. We haven't had a good sunspot spell in a while. This could be a worse situation that "global warming". Kinda like getting ready for a tornado during a flood.

Dumbass. Only look at the surface of everything don't you? #1 I REPEAT, the award is NOW up to 1/2 million dollars. #2 This isn't like big tobacco saying anything. This is like the scientists saying that we're entering an ice age back in the 70's (if you've been around that long). #3 Plants can't survive without CO2. They use it to make OXYGEN. The deadly pollution is in those handy energy saving light bulbs they make us use. They have mercury in them. Pwned.

#1 $100k is not and i repeat NOT 1/2 a million Dollars#2 This is like Big Tobacco saying for 50 years smoking doesn't cause cancer and there is no scientific evidence proving it does ...while millions of smokers died.#3 CO2 causes deadly pollution on the only planet we know of that can support life, so why not keep it unpolluted? Do you realize we have the technology to do it but the Bankers don't want to decrease short term profits? Are you a banker?

I just heard that there is a new study linking greenhouse gasses to global cooling. Now co2 is causing the planet to cool. Their whole premise was that extra co2 causes the sun's heat to reflect back on the earth like a blanket, now their saying that co2 stops the sun's heat from hitting the earth in the first place effectively cooling the planet. I wonder what made them change tactics, perhaps it's because the Earth is in a stage of cooling not warming? These people must think we're stupid.

If you take into affect water vapor, which makes up 95% of all green houses gasses and is 99.999% natural, then humans are responsible for about 0.28% of the Climate. Also, he may have fancy charts and graphs, but Al Gore trying to explain a scientific process is like Dan Quayle trying to judge a spelling Bee.
