Not this exact copy, the 1st copy took a beating, it still played though. After finding this mint copy about 25 years ago and since sold the original copy. Actually, I had to replace many that I often played on that player. Reason being, very few were put back in the sleeves and laid around the inside of the car. Some warped because of the sun. Take a peak at Girl With A Little Tin Heart. Remember, these records were not collectables in the 60s. After the Brit. Inva. these were sold for pennys

Really good tune!! If this is the same copy you played in your under the dash player I'm amazed it held up so well.

Thank you!

Unlucky, I know, sad, I think it would have been a hit.

A nice mellow cover. Andy Kim and Jay & The Americans both had successes with other revivals of old Ronnettes chestnuts in the late 60s, but I guess these guys weren't so lucky.

I love this song, did they do anything else? I never heard of them.

I had a 55 Buick in the 60s with an Under the Dash Record player. Mostly everybody that ever road with me loved this record. It never got any air time guess because the British invasion had taken over back then. I like the LS, I'll give it a whirl!

KNOCK OUT! Listen to The Lovin' Spoonful's version which is very similar to this one. |
