this singer sings well.But plz don't compare it with Rafi Sahib.no past or present singers could even touch that level. Rafi was not just a singer. He was a complete package. He whole life , his personlity is like a glowing light.

well sonu Nigham was not born then,,,,,,?Rafi sahab used such words for evryone,,even for Mukesh,,,manna de,,Talat etc,,but if u don`t find it on wikipedia it never mean Rafi sahab didn`t say anything,,,read his wife`s interview that Rafi sahab never credited his own voice raher he kept on talking and praising others superior than himself,

Thinking is becoming,,,,he is from Mohmammad Rafi`s art of singing,,,,,Singers like Anwar,,mahindar kapoor,Sonu Nigham, are never compared rather they add glory to Divine Rafi Sahab`s name,,,think of him and u `ll also be give bit of his art,,,,,but Rafi Sahab is a man of infinite dimension......like sun and they are his reflection...

Anwar was a good singer and if dont know Rafi then you will see a great similarity. However if you know Rafi then Anwar is not the slightest similar.

We all love Rafi Saab. He was a DARWESH who lived very simple life. Mahendar Kapoor, Masood Rana, Anwar Rafi, Shabir Kumar, Anwar Hussein, Sonu Nigam all sounded like Rafi Saab but no one was like Rafi Saab and no one will be. We are here to love those who are the good singers without disrespecting our friends. Please do not call names each other. Love and respect each other. My dear brothers and sisters, my purpose for uploading this ghazal was to enjoy the pain through Anwar's voice. It is obvious as daylight that among male singers Mohammad Rafi Saab and female singers Lata Jee have no competitors yet that doesn't disqualify all other male or female singers. Now let's see the real issue, listen to this ghazal at 4:13 Anwar said "JASH'R" instead of "JASH'N". Listen to Rafi Saab song "Main ne Poochha Chaand Se" he sang, "Phoolon mein "SHAMAB" tera dhoonda.
