Mar 17, 2010 - storyboarding is not that hard. Basically it's a comic book version of your film. Do not go crazy when drawing storyboards you can use simple stick figures and/or shapes. Also, if possible, scan your photos to your computer and you can then, with a microphone, record the dialogue and watch what you have to check pacing and how long each shot will be. A great video on this topic is from Indy Mogul's 4 Minute Film School and as well as from golfthewlis. Hope this helps =]

Apr 6, 2011 - Storyboards don't always have to be drawn. I have a version that looks like a spreadsheet almost where one column is a description of the shot, next is sound/dialogue, effects/transition and a column for notes. If you are just beginning try to use the "non-drawn" version. Then, as you get more experience you can use the "comic" version.
