Step by step tutorial for drawing proportions for your male manga and anime characters. Learning proportions is one of the first steps in drawing characters, and once you get a hang of it you'll have a solid foundation for drawing poses. To see how I use these proportions and simple anatomy to draw a Manga Fight Pose, check out the guest video I did for Cartoon Block:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lV8EcSIPcjs&feature=fvstTo Learn how to draw Female Body Proportions in different views:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkTcIUmz7uchttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEB5RJc7uUIMy Deviant Art Page: http://mikekoizumi.deviantart.com/Follow me on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Koizu

Feb 1, 2012 - my quick tip would be to try to draw the eyes right on the halfway line of the face, on the horizontal line. Try to draw the eyes smaller and wider too, not so big. That should give you proportions that are older and more adult like. Perhaps it'll be easier to see in a video. I'll add it to my list :) A good topic actually.
