Online Advertising Article Outline – Freelance Writing
Want to be writing Marketing articles but not really sure how to go about it? Well, you’re not alone. Thousands of aspiring Internet marketers are having the same problem. But, given that inner drive, a little article writing guide might just be the solution.
Because English is not my primary language, I was reluctant to write and publish at first. It was not until I began discovering a pattern in some online tutorials that I gathered enough courage to try and make money writing. One good tip is the use of AIDA in article outlines.
An outline is just a guide for your article to be better organized. You know, like being coherent so that readers find it easier to understand. To write effective Marketing articles, however, would require a more specific organization. Let’s talk about it.
The A in AIDA stands for writing to grab the readers Attention.
The first part of a Marketing article is its Title. The Title should be able to grab the readers attention and make him or her read further. It should also be able to attract the attention of search engines, which means that your main keyword or topic is included.
The I of AIDA means writing to arouse the reader’s Interest.
Immediately after the title, the next part of a Marketing article is its Introduction. The Introduction briefly tells the reader what your article is all about. In about a couple of paragraphs of 3-4 sentences each, your article Introduction should interest you reader enough to proceed reading.
Avoid the usual and boring “This article is about…” Be conversational, funny and emphatic if you can. Make the reader feel that you have experienced the problem you are discussing in the article.
The D of AIDA refers to the development of the reader’s Desire.
After the Introduction follows the body of the article. This is where you discuss the main substance of your article. This is where you point out NOT the features of your subject but, rather, the benefits that the reader can derive from it. In a subtle way, write so as to answer the reader’s silent query, “What’s in it for me?”
To be better organized, the article body should be delivered through bullet points. Each bullet point is best followed by a supporting paragraph or two. At least 3 bullet points with a paragraph each approximates a 400-word article.
The last A of AIDA means persuading the reader to take positive Action.
After the body of the article or the discussion of bullet points, the article ends with a Conclusion. The Conclusion basically sums up the logical thing to do given the previous discussion. It is here where you subtly lead the reader to your resource box or bio box to take positive Action.
Now, your article is not meant to tell all. Rather it is meant to leave the reader hanging and curious. Well, curious enough to click on your link at your resource box. But never ask or even imply that you are asking anyone to click that link. Be subtle. You are not selling here actually. It is the actual sale page that should do it, not your article.

Backlinks can get your site up search engine rankings. Once on top, you can rest assured free targeted traffic will come by the hordes.
